However, and I do not expect many of you to understand this - - - - - -  if the tank displayed the name, "Polaris" on the side, I would not have even considered purchasing this bike, and if by some nasty trade-mark claim or other quirk, Polaris was forced to remove the "Indian" name from my tank, I would sell this great bike and not look back.

I've said it before but I feel the same.

Nah, Polaris would change it to Victory. And I'd still be buying.  8)

Funny ... I've never been a fan of most of the Victory logos ...  ( I'm okay with the name.. just not most of the logos ) .

I wanted to buy a crossroads back in '09 to put down at the beach house... it was the cool retro one.    My wifes' response.  "What am I going to wear...   Shirts with a f***ing "V" on them?  "    I shit you not... funny stuff.

Oh yeah .. didn't get that bike :(

Why should I care what anyone else thinks or says about my ride?

My kid bought me a nice little can cozy the other day. It reads: "Warning! Too old to give a fuck!"

Pretty much sums up my attitude right there.

    Truthfully?
After 35 years of riding solely Harley Davidson Bikes, I respect the name Polaris a hell of a lot more than Harley Davidson right now.
BTW; I still own and ride Both.

That's some funny shit, but she's got a point. Kinda lacking in the tattoo department too. Harley or Indian ink, sure, but Victory? LOL
