Oil filter wrench
« on: December 02, 2017, 08:04:20 am »
Last weekend, while changing my oil, I decided that I'm tired of trying to grab the filter with my Sears Craftsman strap wrench.  I want a proper filter wrench, but I'm guessing that I could get the same thing at the auto parts store that Indian's selling for a lot less money.  Is there a standard size designation for the Indian TS111 filter wrench?

Thanks!

John

I bought one at an auto supply store that works just fine. Take an oil filter with you to the auto parts store, and test on the wrenches until you find one that works. I forgot what size it is.

Well, that's the thing.  I threw away the old one.  Was hoping someone here would know the size.

Most bikes are 65-67MM. I got mine at NAPA and it fits both sizes. But you will need a new filter before you need the wrench. Just take it your favorite auto parts guy as the previous poster said. I paid $4.95. My Triumph dealer wanted $26 for the same thing, I can't remember what Indian wanted?

I picked mine up at the local Honda dealer. Bike Master brand I think.
