I contend that the Octane/Scout was a test by Polaris and was the ultimate nail in the coffin. They took a bike, virtually the same to go after the same market. Indian blew it away because the brand had draw. 'nuf said, Victory was killed not long after that.

...remembering of course that the engine design was intended for Victory before Indian came into Polaris' wheelhouse...

Except I've got almost 11 years of Polaris parts bin bikes experience.

So let me axe you guys, now that Ola is on board do you think he is the one to design the Next Big New Thing for Indian? If so, does that mean there's no mystery bike already in the pipeline?

    "axe"...you're funny.

Youse guys that work in Essex County know what I mean. I bet you hear axe on a very regular basis.  ;D ;D ;D ;D

I was wondering if they brought Ola Stenegard in just to work on the Scout in an effort to get some suspension on the thing and make it so us fat long legged farts could ride one. But a dual sport is certainly a possible as well.
