Looking for the luggage rack that takes the place of the passenger seat on a Vintage or Classic. Not the one that attaches to the passenger backrest.

Hah- I should have clarified that I'm looking for a used one. I know there are plenty of new ones out there for $150+!

This is a nice-to-have, not a need--to-have, so trying to not spend too much.

I had a curved rack on my Honda Shadow ACE.  They're great looking, but not really practical.  About all you can carry are soft items, like a duffel bag.

This is for the CO trip this summer. I think I'll just re-install the padded pillion seat and strap my duffel bag to the passenger backrest with the pad removed.

This is what I used for four years commuting with my back pack - it is actually the best solution for carrying all of your junk (along with the biggest saddle bags that you can find to carry your heaviest items low on the bike).  If you are willing to mix parts, you can get a nice HD rack on eBay for around $25 to attach to your sissy bar to carry some large, but light items (see attached picture of my setup using an HD rack).

Here's one I made out of stainless tube ant meranti pine, cost me an hour of my life and about $25.
How many do you want?

Only if it comes with the barbecue utensils, too!
