I wonder if there is something inherently wrong with the Scouts and therefore Indian has stopped production??? Considering that they had running bikes in August and now it is mid January and even the trickle of deliveries has stopped makes me wonder if the production line is running at all. If production has been ongoing since August, considering the few shipments, they would have bikes totally stacked up at the factory...Has anyone got any significant mileage on one yet?? Are they working as advertised?? Any maintenance issues??
How did that get past the final inspection at the plant ?
I was at my dealer just last week and he got one in while I was there. He told me that the shipping company is the problem. Apparently, Indian contracted out all of the shipping to one company and that company handles it the way they want. He said that he has had 3 trucks deliver on the same day with one bike each.

The ads run every 10 minutes. We have a contract with a carrier for NC, SC, TN, VA. They tell me they turn down 15-20 loads a day due to not enough drivers. If you're looking for a job, go get a CDL. My son-in-law had 5 offers the day he graduated from a CDL course at a local community college.
...I have been contacting Indian as well as Polaris via email, phone and even their social media -Facebook and Twitter- they gave me vague replies....
